The overall tone is driven by performance-based comedy. Strong Improv backgrounds are preferred, with a focus on keeping things loose and fun. Alex (friend who needs money): Female, 25–35, POC, Latina, Black, racially ambiguous. Alex is the water to Willa’s fire. While she’s textbook “chill” on the outside, she’s a hustler at heart. For months she’s been busting her butt to make ends meet with her new nanny gig, but this was a rough month. Who knew a car suspension could cost that much?! The setback is crushing her, and she’s running out of time to make up the rest of her rent money. She’s definitely not wasting a penny of it on breakfast this morning.
